No need to become who you already are.

There is no need to become anything or anyone. We are already who we are, we couldn't be otherwise. The problem is that most people want to be someone or something else, different in some way. Seeking or becoming is avoidance of seeing that we already are who we are. We are the way we were intended to be, not that it's fixed, it evolves. We already are the self. So what are we looking for? Once that's acknowledged, even philosophically, then the question is what we are, and it doesn't take long with close inspection to see that we are pure subjectivity - presence/awareness.
